Oakley’s “Designed to See” exhibition stand at ISPO2017
When it comes to skiing, snowboarding and eyewear, Oakley is one of the first names that people think of.
With a new position in the sports market, ISI Global were commissioned to create a stylish, modular retail environment for their ISPO 17 stand; one that would complement their offering and not overpower the products on display.
ISI Global have been working closely with Oakley’s global marketing team for the past couple of years on a number of projects including EMEA POS, Events and Roadshows. ISPO 2017 marks our latest collaboration for which ISI Global have designed and developed a 250 sqm exhibition stand that would reflect their new market position in the sports industry.
While showcasing some of their most popular ranges of products in the Snow Category, ISI Global have focused on a Customer Journey approach in their designs. The objective behind ATRRACT ME > INFORM ME > CONVINCE ME approach was to educate visitors on Oakley “head-to-ankle” offering as well as converting shoppers into consumers!
The two-floored stand had many features to encourage interaction. The external walls featured breath-taking illuminated imagery and focal areas encasing key new products in a feature hotspot. On the entrance visitors were welcomed by a branded reception podium, encouraging visitors to commence their customer journey through the entire Oakley® range, which was split creatively using a mix of digital, 3D and print. The stand featured private consultation areas, two immersive zones to learn and interact with Oakley technology as well as a mezzanine café to socialise and relax.
The main area of the stand was the ultimate showcase for Oakley’s product, with powerful communication on eyewear, helmets and apparel. Oakley’s technical clothing range was displayed on 360-degree visible rails to inspire visitors to see and touch all aspects of the range from every possible angle. A full width ‘Goggle bar’ was designed to display some of their latest goggle wear designs colourways, lenses and technologies.
The mezzanine offered a fantastic view of the entire stand while relaxing over a cup of coffee and learning more about Oakley’s heritage via a dedicated feature wall.
