Lead Creative Agency.

The First of its kind.

Following a successful pitch, ISI Global were appointed as Bissell’s lead creative agency to create a new aesthetic for the brand and help them grow their retail presence across EMEA. The first of its kind, we were tasked with designing the brands first ever SIS in Europe which would be located in one of the largest consumer electronics retailers Saturn, Hamburg.

Innovative Design.

The brief outlined the need to be able to test products, promote hero products, and the more challenging deliverable – to display both demo products and boxed products for every SKU. The design of the 5x5m flagship shop-in-shop included three large product bays and two hero bays. The illuminated hero bays highlighted the key features of selected products in the range by suspending them in annotated clear acrylic panels. We also created a lifestyle wall within the design mimicking a kitchen/lounge setting which provided a tester floor area, allowing consumers to demo product performance on different floor finishes.

Maximise ROI.



To get the most out of this space and maximise ROI opportunities for the brand we recommended the use of a digital selection tool as part of the initial design. With the floor cleaning category being a confusing proposition with many similar products on offer, it would give the brand the chance to assist consumers in the decision-making process and to make the purchasing of Bissell products a more personalised experience.


A large touchscreen was incorporated into the design and our digital team created the assets. The screen plays an attracter loop of product videos but upon interaction the product selection tool starts up and begins to ask the consumer a series of questions about their home cleaning needs. Each question answered is an important step and takes the consumer down a personalised pathway resulting in the suggestion of specific products to best suit their individual needs. Information regarding each recommended product is displayed along with the relevant product accessories that might improve their homecare experience.

The finished SIS looks great – not only did we address all the deliverables set out in the brief, producing an impactful but functional physical retail space but we offered the brand an additional digital solution to help them reach their consumers better and provide a more personalised shopper experience.
